Beverly Emory was the superintendent of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools from 2013 to 2019.Hairston's previous career experience included serving as superintendent with the Richmond County School System in Georgia, and as a principal and region superintendent in Atlanta, Georgia. Hairston was the superintendent from 2019 to 2020. ![]() McManus' previous career experience includes serving as the school district's interim superintendent, as a deputy superintendent with the school district, and as an assistant superintendent with Hillsborough County Public Schools in Florida.
